Review: Anatomicals facial products! *

Everyone loves a pamper session but with spa treatments from upward of £10, at home routines are crucial! Introducing 3 Anatomicals products that I have fallen in love with which are not only good for your face but your purse too! Let's Review!...

Who are Anatomicals? (Taken from their website)
At anatomicals we manufacture the world’s funkiest toiletries and so far people seem to like them. Exactly like oxygen, water, gravity and chocolate fudge cake, you’ll soon wonder how on earth you ever managed to live without us.
They manufacture products that aren't tested on animals and that free from parabens!

I feel the need, the need for seaweed, Calming algae face mask

The first face mask I tried was the calming algae face mask. It was a gorgeous sea blue colour, relatable for its seaweed and algae theme. This mask is meant to soothe skin, tackles blemishes, breakouts and clogged pores for throroughly cleansed skin. At first, my face was slightly burning, possibly because I was allergic to an ingredient but leaving it for 5 minutes had settled it down and I could continue my relaxation time.

The mask smelt very fresh, clearly earthy and made from mud and algae. It was, however, very refreshing and soothing. It has a nice texture and although very cold, was actually quite relaxing. The mask spread very well, glided on easily and didn't slip or break away like some masks do because of their consistencies. Because it was a wetter mask than some and a mud mask, I found after 20 minutes, it didn't dry completely with much of it still wet.

After washing it off my face I noticed my face was tinted a slight blue which easily washed off with a bit more scrubbing. My face was instantly smoother and felt really moisturised. I really like this mask because it cleansed my face really well and I love the effects. It is one of the better masks I have tried only I wish it didn't irritate my skin, to begin with.

No more breakouts, it's Alcatraz for spots - Purifying charcoal mask

Unlike other charcoal face masks, this one was actually a really nice dark grey colour. In all honesty, this mask had a strong citrus potence that blends well with the traditional charcoal smell.

The mask itself was really nice, probably my favourite charcoal mask. It was quite runny but firm when applied to the skin and glided on so smoothly and a lot easier than the other mask. It wasn't cold, more like a warming mask and the more it was rubbed it, the warmer it felt. It dried fully within 10 minutes which was amazing and easily washed off. The skin on my cheeks was smoother than I have ever felt them before! I didn't notice it removing any blemishes like blackheads like other charcoal masks which require peeling off which is good to know in case you were expecting blemish-free skin while using this. It was so softer and exfoliated that I definitely will be using this mask again.I really love this face mask!
"Get outta my face dirtball!" - Apricot face scrub

This fruity concoction reminded me of apricot jam. It didn't smell fake and also wasn't too potent like some fruit scents can be. The scrub had a decent amount of the exfoliating beads which paid off because of how well the scrub worked. The consistency was quite soft and like melting ice cream. To feel the full effect of the apricot kernels, you have to push down a bit harder than usual because of how small they are but the size of them means that they can really exfoliate your skin and leave it feeling radiant and glowing. The after effect of this mask was that my skin looked a bit brighter and very soft because of the exfoliating kernels which remove dead skin cells to leave your skin feeling fresh and revived.
It was a really good face scrub and the amount you can get in these 15ml sachets means that you can use it 2 -3 times in a generous quantity before it runs out which is really good and great for any pamper night or night routine. It also is really cheap at £1-2 per sachet and £4 for a tube which is available at retailers like Superdrug, ASOS and on Amazon which means there is a wide range of places to buy from!
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed the review. I love working with this brand so much and I really recommend their company for some of the best face masks I have ever tried! Their website is here
